SERGINE DUMAIS

Sergine Dumais is a French-Canadian director, actress, and acting coach. She is best known for her work in Quebec musical theater and as a voice actress and director in Los Angeles. Sergine graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy of New York, and began her career as a performing “triple-threat” in many hit shows, including La Cage aux Folles, Grease and 5 Woman Show, which she co-created.
As a director, her stage credits include the French adaptation of Little Women-the musical, and Jason Robert Brown’s 13.
She currently lives in Los Angeles, where she has directed the French language dubs of over 20 features, including Mr. Holmes with Sir Ian McKellan, and The Rewrite with Hugh Grant. In addition, she has lent her voice to many Hollywood stars, including Diane Keaton, Cate Blanchett, Allison Janney, Linda Hamilton, and Salma Hayek. In recent years, she has directed the English dub of over 75 TV episodes, including the second season of the animated series Mini Wolf, now streaming on Netflix.
In 2014, Sergine co-created, directed and starred in the web series 2 Femmes a Hollywood. She returned to her stage roots in 2019 and directed Slap Kiss Kill at Hollywood’s McCadden Theater. In 2020, Sergine directed her first short film, Wichita, starring Jeremy Sisto and Maxim Roy.
She recently became an American citizen.
